Fiesty Little 'Un in healthier times
Guys, Mum and Dad just took Little 'Un to the vet, she has not been well, in spite of rallying wonderfully after her toe op. #Pawcircle has kept her, and our spirits up, but her recent decline worried us so Mum and Dad took her for a quick check up.
Vet thinks it is bone cancer spread into her paw. She has steroids, and some antibiotics - to ease the pain and keep her appetite up. Little 'Un is a little old lady and each day she is now with us is a blessing and a joy - we love her very much and have so many wonderful happy times to treasure.
We don't know how long we have - EACH DAY IS A JOY. Mum has a breaking heart and Dad too but, for now our beloved girl, Aunty Little 'Un, our adventurer, our jet setter is still here.
Thank you,
Dash
AWW!! we are sooo sorry to hear! *sniffles.... Puggle Snuggles to all of you!

ReplyDeletePepiSmartDog: Oh Dash I'm so sorry to hear Little'Un is poorly. My dear friend @R0O, who is one of our RB Chefs, had the most brilliant view on illness. He fought a brave battle against cancer and every day he came on twitter and said: "R0O WINS!"
ReplyDeleteAfter he crossed the RB I interviewed him for the ATs and he explained that every single good thing that ahppened, from the time he was diagnosed by the vet, he claimed victory for. If he ate a meal: R0O WINS! If he sat in the sun in a window: R0O WINS!
He refused to let cancer take his fighting spirit or his joy!
His thinking had a profound affect on me and I STILL use his example to many pals and people, on a regular basis.
Little'Un WINS !!!!!
And Dash, thank you so much for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I'm letting everyone know that even if you don't feel like writing a blog story, you can always just post wordless photos too.
BTW: I do 'not' see Little'Un's name on my Pram List. Little'Un WINS !
