World Vets - Paws around the world: #PawsforJapan

* tap tap tap - OK Mom - ready to go...... *

Hem hem.....

Anipals of the world, (including Hubble SpacePaws who I accidentally nearly deleted MOL!!). This Thursday is going to be the focus of our Paws for Japan fund raiser - this is massively important for us pals.

All over the world anipals joined Rumblepurr and I to raise funds for anipals in Christchurch - they came from Twitter, from animal groups on Yahoo, from places that never even heard of Twitter and helped so much we raised over $2,000US which was gratefully received.!  Now our help is needed for the animals of Japan.

@FrugalDougal the #pawty organiser has this to say : ".... this year instead of celebrating the 2nd anniversary of the PawPawty on St Patrick's Day on 17th March with a pawty, we will be supporting a day long Paws for Japan event which will take the form of blogging, tweeting and facebooking to raise awareness of the work carried out by World Vets."

So my blog post today is to urge you, and everyone you know to share your gift giving for Japan, allocate a little bit of it to the World Vets Appeal (see the Chip In on the left hand side - no... up a bit.... see the box marked Japan Animal Aid - That's it!

STOP PRESS. Head over to Blog Hop No. 39 Sparkle the beautiful kitty is having a commentathon and her dad is giving $1 for each comment made!  Get over there NOW!!

Hey guys, I just HAD to tell you about the pwize we won from @NoCryBabyDoGs our Twitter pal at the recent #dudefest party.  Mum wants me to do a special blog post so, here it is!!  Check out the cards in the picture below.......

See the beautiful texture of the card? See how the card set is neatly packaged to keep the cards clean?  Mum had wet eyes when they arrived as they are beautiful.  The cards are printed on beautiful cream colured paper with * checks notes * texture that makes them really special.

You can see how lovely the cards and AND * excited breath * I was sent an extra special gift! I have a card of my famous #Pawparty superhero @FrugalDougal AND Mum's favourite special Twitter Super Hero @PetieTheCat.  Mum says to check out the gorgeous ginger boy (Petie) sheeesh! * rolls eyes *

NoCryBabyDoGs has a truly awesome shop on Etsy that I want you to take a peep at. She does notecards, magnits and labelsis.  I had a good sniff at the cards and they are just THE BEST, well with my portrait on the cards are something special, and I suggest you ask her to make you some, because they will be worth every last single cent!!

Rescue Animals ------------dfxxxxxxxxxxxxx

* Tap tap tap - anyone about... Just a short one today *

Just a moment to pause and say a prayer or healing thought for all anipals suffering at this moment.  All those abused animals who sick people video, all those small defenceless animals abused by wicked wicked wicked people, the abandoned and the lost, the cats in bins, the drowned puppies.

A moment also to salute the courage of those on the front line of animal rescue; people like our friend @FuzzyMice always short of funds, the hard working recipients of @FrugalDougals monthly #pawparties,  the SPCA big business but still at the sharp end, the Upper Hutt Animal Rescue - my local rescue shelter, and every other sanctuary, rescue, and frontline organisation or rescue working against the clock and around the clock -

One humble kitten cat salutes your total, complete and utterly admirable courage.

Pawparty Pwizes from @FrugalDougal

At last mum has a picture of me with my FrugalDougal goodies from the recent #pawparty.

I won a pwize and as it could not come to NZ so I donated it to a friend in the USA but Dougal let me have a lovely present of a cute London teatowel and Two Toys! Thankfully they had not been filled with catnip or they would have been quarantined by the Ministry! Mum has them sprayed with local catnip spray here instead which is PAWsome!!!!

I was really excited to win but Mum could not get me and the pwizes in the same place until this week as I have been out all the time! She did manage to get a good one of Sienna playing with teddy though MOL!

OK so here we are with thanks to Dougal and his mum for exciting stuff.
