Why? Well we are all helping friend @BabyPatches get on her feet in these tough times - so I will be featuring the items available over the next couple of weeks. The Yellow Brick Road Pawty Report

Friends, anipals, humans. How can I thank you all. In spite of the competing demands of Blogpaws and the business of people's lives you turned up in force to support our dear friend Spooky and his Mom.
I have a few thank you's so join me in thanking those gracious friends who helped by organising, DJ-ing and barktending using our superb menu from @PuppyNumber7 and his Mum.
Firstly personal thanks to two gifted individuals - @MizzBassie. Apart from being a superb jewellery artiste her gift for scheduling leaves Mum indebted to her; and @PuppyNumber7 whose gift for creating astonishing menus takes my breath away. Our Kitten's Whiskers proved a hit of the evening!
Secondly, our Prize donors. Pals, if you knew how readily pals came forward with offers of gifts to help Spooky you would JUMP at the chance to win one of our wonderful prizes. It is SO VITAL that pals enter the quiz so honour our donors and celebrate our pal Spooky, never underestimate it, YOU MAY WIN!!

#MagicCarpet Pawty Report - DashKitten

Ladies and Gentlemen,
A busy week has passed and Mum and I have finally been able to settle down and write our #Arabianpawty #Magicpawty Thank you post. I have a few to thank so please bear with me. Firstly, team members @MizzBassie and @PuppyNumber7 kept us rock solid on track, and both @SpookyShorty and I are grateful for their tremendous work.
To everyone who attended and helped us fund raise for @Spookyshorty - THANK YOU. We have raised over $900 and, as a result, Spooky's treatment can continue. Every minute was worthwhile simply to have his Mum tell us that. Spooky's mum is trying hard to find a job, she is no slacker but times are tough and at times like this pals help.
We had tremendous support from our staff whose voluntary contribution of time, effort and support is hugely appreciated. A special 'thank you' must go to Madame Isabeau hosted by @NikePurrfektcat, the Tarot Tent was a unique and special treat. Our Prize Donors were outstandingly generous with gifts including donations for Spooky, vouchers, toys, and a host of wonderful surprises. We are grateful for our generous friends :-

Lion Raffle from Dash Kitten - UPDATE!!
We have broken the $500 barrier, with a couple of cheque donations that are not on the Chip In! So, a second prize will be offered in the raffle! The actual prize is still being decided upon BUT as we have had some wonderful supporters I think it would be a nice idea.
We still have a way to go to reach our goal, so please do not hesitate to pop over to the Chip In link. Being budget conscious and acknowledging these are tough times, we have put the single ticket price at $1.50 and a bundle of 6 tickets for $5.00. Every cent goes to help Sheila and her mum Lillian, who are two of the nicest caring souls you will ever meet.

Smokey8 and the #NipClub Pawsome Event

Mum and I want to send out a big thank you to @Smokey8 after her first pawty prize promotion at the #nipclub.
Mum had so much fun I could hear her laughing from out in the garden while I played! I don't know what she was up to but I heard 'Ooh noes' and ;Aggh that was an RT' coming out of the window * rolls eyes *. I reckon she had a good time which is fun AND Mum says that she won an pawtrait from the most marvelous artist lady. Check the lady out here - Mum is totally paw-struck!!
Mum says this was something special, everyone had the most fun time and we want to conCATulate our wonderful pal on her marvelous event.

I got up this morning and checked the SPCA ChipIn set up by Rumblepurr (see left) and it had $860US in it. To put this in perpic.. persspect.... to give you an idea in New Zealand money this is about $1,169NZ dollars. * takes deep breath * WOW.
STOP PRESS : Short but important video clip of Bob Kerridge from SPCA describing how donations will be used here. Further non anipal clips play after it so just close the window when he is finished talking.
Do you know how many anipals and friends have taken up the chip in?? I decided to make a list so you know. Mario was a big help making up the list so kudos to him for his memory (I thought Mum had one, but, no....)
